Hi all. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am from Bob Fioretti’s campaign. And yes, I have made “anonymous” postings in the past. Moving on from that, its time to set the record straight.
Bob himself has voted Democratic his entire life, and has made individual contributions to democratic candidates throughout his career. It was Bob’s partner at Fioretti and Desjardins (three years ago dissolved) who made donations to the Republican party.
The only things that have been pointed out by our opponents on this blog are half-truths aimed at defaming Bob’s character. However, when you read between the racist remarks and false accusations about Bob’s law career, it becomes clear that Bob is an excellent lawyer who has given ALL of his clients their right to fair representation.
I would like to end by saying that there are many candidates in this race who have varied backgrounds and have done admirable things. However, the bottom line is that Bob Fioretti is the most qualified person for the position of Alderman of the 2nd Ward.
Which 2nd ward aldermanic candidate will receive the most votes on election day, Feb. 27, 2007? -
Fioretti is the guy that is finally going to unseat that invisible alderman of ours. He came to a recent meeting of an organization I have been a member of for several years, and blew everyone out of the water with his honest, no BS responses. I was on the fence between Askew and Bob before, but after meeting him and Askew both, I’m totally behind Bob.
