Askew is quoted today from the online issue of the Chicago Journal that he is “going to wait a few days to decide who to support in the runoff.” To those Askew supporters who defended him about this issue, well, hopefully this sheds some light. 80% of the ward wants a different Alderman. Be true to those wishes, Mr. Askew, and endorse Mr. Fioretti without delay.
Either he steps up to the plate and endorses the candidate who can dump Haithcock, or Askew will lose any credibility he might have had leading up to the election. And to my fellow 2nd Ward citizens, you know what to do come April 17. Vote Fioretti – for all of the people of the 2nd Ward.

Actually, I was the one who referred to the Askew-Haithcock-Doody cabal, not the other poster. In addition, CBS2 did not exonerate Mr. Askew’s participation in this smear campaign whatsoever. Native son, you are a very angry, bitter person – and sadly a dishonest one as well. You do a great disservice to the candidate you support by your reckless, hate-filled charges against the very honorable Mr. Fioretti. I would hope that after David Askew loses today, he will immediately repudiate the sort of divisiveness and ill-will which you, Haithcock, and Doody all stand for. It’s time to stand up for the people of the Second Ward. Bob Fioretti will do that.

I think it’s so telling how Haithcock-Doody-Askew are all so afraid of Fioretti. Bob Fioretti will be beholden to no one, except the residents of the 2nd Ward. Askew is against living wages, Doody is a schill, Haithcock is owned by developers. They throw reckless charges, but no one is buying it. See you on Election Day.

Is that the same Enrique who paid drug addicts to come out and vote at the local elementary school? The same one who the parents at the school all despise? The same one who is a Haithcock/Doody tool? I just looked on this site for the first time in a few days and am disgusted at the reckless accusations being thrown against Mr. Fioretti. Funny thing is, I’ve scanned the newspapers and there’s nothing any responsible journalist is saying about these wild charges. The Doody-Haithcock-Askew cabal are clearly desperate and terrified that someone who can’t be bought is winning this race. See you on Tuesday. Go Fioretti!

My words are not hateful – they were given in response to an Askew person suggesting that I have not spoken to Askew, suggesting that I did not know him so cannot have an opinion. I responded what my opinion is. So I cannot have an opinion now when asked without being called names for responding? I am more and more convinced that there is something very seriously wrong with Askew and his hate-filled campaign. What is hateful on this blog is the unsolicited Askew rhetoric constantly hurled against Fioretti – and NONE against Haithcock. Clearly Askew and Haithcock have made a deal – very predictable.
Matters not a bit – Fioretti will prevail on Tuesday.
