During a forum, I believe at Columbia College, the candidates were asked if they would support the incumbant in a run-off.
Fioretti and Johnson said they absolutely would not. Askew and Doody said they would weigh the options. There are only 2 options – support Haithcock or support the opponent! Askew did not commit to opposing Haithcock.
So, I ask you again:
How will you “ASSURE” me of that when Askew himself did not assure us that he wouldn’t support Haithcock that night at the candidate forum? He had the opportunity to make a statement, but let us down.
Please explain.
It will probably be a run-off, but I wouldn’t be shocked if Fioretti gets the 50+1. He will be close, at least – in the mid-to-high 40s.
However, I don’t have much riding on this race because it’s not too profitable, except when campaigners drive prices to unreasonable levels. If I bought up shares to $90, it is too easy for Doody-nuts and Wallace people to short sell those positions. That makes it tough to make any money.
I either wait for fools to buy up Doody and Wallace so I can sell them short for easy profit, or I buy the races where there someone is running uncontested.
