The filing period is actually between 1/2 and 1/31, so most filings will be available towards the end of January.

DUMP DALEY- DUMP TILLMAN!!!
Pat Dowell is a dedicated woman who is a leader in the field of economic development. I have personally seen her work and it is outstanding. i do not live in the ward so I can not vote for her but having seen both her and Tillman operate at City Hall all i can say is the people of the 3rd Ward would really benefit by her election.
Tillman never met a developer she didn’t love. i would lock up the good dishes if Tillman were coming over. Harold Washington would be very disappointed in the way Tillman turned out.
Mell Monroe is an independent voice for the people. I don’t live in the ward either. I have met both Pat and Mell. While they are both articulate and likeable, Mell is a businessman with leadership skills that the 3rd ward needs desperately. He doesn’t have experience with City Hall, but the third ward doesn’t need another politician. It needs someone with vision who will bring jobs to the area, encourage businesses to locate here and make families comfortable in the area. This race will likely go to a run-off. I agree that Tillman must go, but the person to fill that seat should be Monroe.
I live in the 3rd ward and I have never met Pat Dowell or Mell Monroe personally, because I wanted to make an informed decision based on each candidates background and work in the community. After looking at their credentials and reading about the background of both candidates and looking at their endorsements, I feel Pat Dowell has the best chance at beating Tillman because in my opinion she is the strongest candidate and she would be the one Tillman would have to face in a run off and I think a lot of the 3rd ward voters sense that.I think Mr. Monroe has a lot of the qualities of a politician whether he knows it or not, which can be a good thing if you are running for office.
I would like to take this opportunity to openly thank my friend Pat McDowell and Mell Monroe for the heart to take on an self appointed Land baron name Dorothy Tillman I hope you do what the feds haven been able to do bring her down. as a former 25 years resident of the 3rd ward I have seen the blood suck out of the ward by her and her children its time for a change, and now is the time. Thank you again.
